If this is happening right now

We handle these as emergencies, whether or not you’re a current client:

  • Server or network down — nobody can work
  • Suspected ransomware or a hacked account
  • Email down across the company
  • Files missing, encrypted, or inaccessible
  • Phones down (VoIP outage)
  • A departing employee and you’re worried about access

If you suspect ransomware

Before anything else: disconnect the affected computer from the network — unplug the network cable or turn off Wi-Fi. Don’t pay anything, don’t click anything else, and leave the machine on. Then call us. Every minute it stays connected is a minute it can spread.

Have this ready when you call

What’s affected (one machine or everyone), when it started, and anything that changed right before — an update, an email someone clicked, a power blip. Don’t worry if you don’t know; we’ll figure it out together.

How emergency response works

From your call to back-to-work.

Not a client? Call anyway.

Plenty of our long-term clients first called us mid-crisis, stuck with a provider who wasn’t answering. Emergency work for non-clients is billed hourly — we’ll tell you the rate on the phone before any work starts, and you’ll never get a surprise invoice. If we can talk you through a quick fix for free, we will.

Responsive when it counts

“What a difference they’ve made. I no longer receive requests for IT support from our staff on a daily basis. I’m now able to focus on my job without having to make time to pick up where our previous IT support failed.”

Critical issues get a response within the hour — usually much faster during business hours. Most emergencies start getting worked remotely within minutes of your call. When on-site hands are needed, we’re local: same-day across Vancouver, Clark County, and the Portland metro.
Yes. Emergency calls from non-clients are how many of our longest relationships started. You don’t need a contract to get help today.
For businesses without an agreement, emergency work is billed hourly — we tell you the rate on the phone before any work starts. For our managed IT clients, emergency response is part of the monthly agreement.
Most of the time, yes — remote is usually the fastest path because we can start immediately. Hardware failures and network outages sometimes need a person in the building, and we dispatch same-day for those.
Disconnect the affected machine from the network (unplug the cable or kill Wi-Fi), leave it powered on, don’t pay anything, and call us. Don’t try to clean it yourself — well-meaning cleanup attempts often destroy the evidence needed to assess what was taken.
That conversation happens after you’re back up, not during the fire. Most emergencies trace back to missing patches, aging hardware, no monitoring, or untested backups — the exact things managed IT exists to prevent. No pressure either way; some businesses just want the fix, and that’s fine.
